1st Day of Preschool

Macey has been so excited and looking forward to starting Preschool. She is definitely our little social bug. As soon as we got to preschool she said, "I'll just go in by myself Mom." I told her I needed to go in with her for her first day, though I'm quite sure she would have been just fine all by herself. As soon as we got inside and I snapped a couple of pictures she was already saying, "See ya Mom." As I walked out to my car I have to admit I was getting teary. Well 2 1/2 hours later when I picked her up, she came running to the car and said, "Mommy, mommy! I have homework!" I couldn't help but laugh. I can't believe how quick she is growing up but we are having so much fun watching her learn and grow.

Happy 5th Anniversary!

Happy 5th Anniversary! It's been five wonderful years. I can't believe how quick the time has gone. Thank you babe for being such an amazing husband and father. I truly couldn't have asked for any better. You are such a wonderful example and have helped me to be a better person. Thanks for all you do! I love YOU!!!

Disney on Ice

Grandma Cindy treated Macey and I to Disney On Ice. It was such a blast! So fun to see her excitement while watching it all. Thanks Grandma for such a great time!

Our baby girl is 3! Wow!...How time flies. We are so lucky to have this sweet, spunky, beautiful little girl in our lives. She has brought us more joy than we ever thought possible. Happy Birthday!! We love you Macey!!!

I have decided I am going to just buy a cake next year. I spent the whole day on Macey's cake instead of spending time with her on her birthday. Needless to say she watched way too much t.v. while I was trying to be a "good" mom by making her a special cake.

Halloween Fun!

Okay...so I am really late posting our Halloween pictures but that's the story of my life. It was a lot of fun this year. Macey seemed to understand a little more this year about Halloween and she loved, loved, loved saying..."Trick or Treat!" Our sweet little Porter just wanted to eat every piece of candy.

First, we went to Grandma & Grandpa Jones' for some picture taking, sugar cookies, and a little trick-or-treating.

Next, we went to my brothers house for more trick-or-treating and homemade doughnuts and hot chocolate (very tasty) made by Grandma & Grandpa LaRose.
