Tree Cutting 2009

This is our annual trip to Island Park to cut down our
Christmas trees.
It's been such a fun tradition and we had a great time like always.

Porter loves to wear Grandpa's cowboy hat.

I had to snap a picture because he looked so big sitting on the stool by himself.

Craft Corner with Grandma Cindy

We had a hard time keeping little man off of the stairs.

The view from the back deck. So pretty with all the snow.

Heading home...what a fun trip!

Fast asleep about five minutes after leaving.

Halloween Fun!

Okay...so I am really late posting our Halloween pictures but that's the story of my life. It was a lot of fun this year. Macey seemed to understand a little more this year about Halloween and she loved, loved, loved saying..."Trick or Treat!" Our sweet little Porter just wanted to eat every piece of candy.

First, we went to Grandma & Grandpa Jones' for some picture taking, sugar cookies, and a little trick-or-treating.

Grandma & Grandpa Jones with all the grandkids.

What dorks! (well...except for the one in the middle of course)

Grandma Cindy (Disco Diva) & Grandpa Chad (Biker Dude)

Great-Grandpa Ray & our little dragon

Enjoying sugar cookies with the cousins.

Next, we went to my brothers house for more trick-or-treating and homemade doughnuts and hot chocolate (very tasty) made by Grandma & Grandpa LaRose.

Grandpa Bob Most of the little grandkids were afraid of him for a while.

Ready for the sugary goods!

What a cute little mouse!

So glad we had the stroller for these two chunks.

All trick or treated out...but still smiling!

Happy Hunting!

Every year we have the annual LaRose family hunting trip. This year all the guys came away empty handed...but we all had a great time.

Lovin' every minute!

Grandpa Bob trying to teach Macey how to kick a football. She is definitely a girl. We are gonna have to work on her coordination a little.

Porter had so much fun just playing in the back of the truck. He didn't want to get out for quite a while.

Macey kept begging to take a picture of us so we let her. She didn't do too bad. I thought she would have our heads cut off for sure.

Mandi & Brayden

The kids had a blast crawling through this tunnel. They were sooo dirty afterwards.

Chillin with Pops!

Brayden pushing Porter in the car. He thought he was big stuff.

Great-grandpa LaRose
"Big Chief"

We went for a little four-wheeler ride and Porter zonked out.

He had so much fun crawling all over in the dirt and playing with the rocks. He's definitely all boy!

Corbin playing with the bow and arrow that Uncle Tyler made.

Porter with Grandpa.

Packing up to go home. So sad to go...but good to get home and take a shower. Better luck next year!!!

Elephant Parade

I'm a little late in posting this but last month we went to the Elephant parade down at the Gateway with Grandma Cindy, Aunt Kelli and the cousins. After the parade we went to Discovery Gateway and played there most of the day. We had such a great time and we all were completely wore out by the end of the day (Macey had a melt-down to prove it). All in all it was a great day though!
Patiently waiting for the parade to start.

The part we've been waiting for...here come the elephants!

I think it is so cute how they hold on to eachothers tails with their trunks.

Macey & Grandma

Little buddy had the best seat in the house.

Macey, Hannah & Cam
What a bunch of clowns!

I love trying to get a good picture of five little ones...nearly impossible.

After the parade we went to the Discovery Gateway (such a fun place) We got to go watch a demonstration on making icecream with liquid nitrogen. It was pretty funny because all the kids were interested in was when they would be getting their icecream. It was really cool to watch though.

Macey wanted to sit on her cousin Hannah's lap.

Finally the icecream!

Showing off her face paint. She loved it but it was so hard for her not to touch it.

Even Portsky got his face painted.

They could have just played here the whole time and been completely satisfied.

Of course Macey had to get on the pretty-tend (that's how she says pretend) horse.

Someone's gotta teach this girl to take the gas nozle out before you drive away (not Aunt Bev though...sorry, inside joke)
