Elephant Parade

I'm a little late in posting this but last month we went to the Elephant parade down at the Gateway with Grandma Cindy, Aunt Kelli and the cousins. After the parade we went to Discovery Gateway and played there most of the day. We had such a great time and we all were completely wore out by the end of the day (Macey had a melt-down to prove it). All in all it was a great day though!
Patiently waiting for the parade to start.

The part we've been waiting for...here come the elephants!

I think it is so cute how they hold on to eachothers tails with their trunks.

Little buddy had the best seat in the house.

Macey, Hannah & Cam
What a bunch of clowns!

I love trying to get a good picture of five little ones...nearly impossible.

After the parade we went to the Discovery Gateway (such a fun place) We got to go watch a demonstration on making icecream with liquid nitrogen. It was pretty funny because all the kids were interested in was when they would be getting their icecream. It was really cool to watch though.

Macey wanted to sit on her cousin Hannah's lap.

Finally the icecream!

Showing off her face paint. She loved it but it was so hard for her not to touch it.

Even Portsky got his face painted.

They could have just played here the whole time and been completely satisfied.

Of course Macey had to get on the pretty-tend (that's how she says pretend) horse.

Someone's gotta teach this girl to take the gas nozle out before you drive away (not Aunt Bev though...sorry, inside joke)

Party Time!

Here are bunch of pictures from Porter's birthday party. We had a good time and thanks to all our family who came to share in this birthday celebration for our little guy.
I love the excitement in his face. He is ready to rip into them!

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to!

Of course Macey can't resist showing him how it works. What a big helper!

He would do this after each present. So sad...but it would make us all laugh.

The cake that took me way longer to make than it should have.

He was a little hesitant at first.

Sharing the goods with Macey.

What a mess...but he loved every minute of it!

Having a drink with Great-Grandpa Ray to swallow it all down.

Great-Grandpa Lee

All the kids swinging.

...even Portsky.

What a cool Grandpa!

Happy Birthday Porter!

Our sweet baby boy is 1 year old today! I can't believe how quickly the time has gone. It makes me realize how much we need to cherish each day and each stage they go through because it goes by so fast. We are so grateful to have Porter as a part of our family. He is our little buddy, our little snuggle bug and our little Portsky! We love you so much buddy! Happy 1st Birthday!

4 Year Anniversary!

Today we celebrate 4 years of being married! Ty, I just want to let you know how much I love you. I am so thankful that you chose me to be your wife... I can't imagine my life without you. You are truly my best friend. You are such an amazing husband and father. Macey and Porter are so lucky to have a daddy like you! Thank you for all that you do to provide and take care of us. These 4 years have been so great with you by my side. Here's to many more! I love you babe!

4th of July Extravaganza!

Our 4th of July was a busy one. Tyler and I started our morning off by running in a 5K. We then rushed home to get ready to make it to the parade (which Macey absolutely loved this year and Porter was mesmerized. Sooo much fun to watch them!) After that we rushed to get ready to go to my family BBQ at my brother's house. Straight from there we met up with Tyler's parents at the park by their house to have a greek dinner (way yummy!) and to watch the fireworks. It was a really busy day but we ate a lot of food and had a lot of fun...can it get any better than that? Here are a few pics from our busy day!

Porter was getting so ticked off at me because I was trying to get him to look at me for the picture. Get used to it Buddy!! :)

Waiting for the parade to begin.

Nothing like drinking a cool beverage to pass the time.

I love this picture! He looks like such a big boy chillin on the curb!!

We had to snap a picture of this...we couldn't help but laugh. Guess he didn't need to get off of his cellphone to be in the parade. Kids these days are amazing at multi-tasking!

We were actually a part of our city's parade a week earlier. Macey had so much fun throwing candy to kids...except we ran out before it was over. She would say to the kids, "Sorry we are out of candy but just keep waving."

Our Moab Trip

Last month was our annual Jones Moab Vacation. We had so much fun! It was a much needed fun, relaxing, low key vacation. We went hiking, swimming, shopping, and this year we went to the go-cart race track...which I have to say Grandma Cindy was probably the most competitive. Go Grandma!! All in all, it was a great vacation and hopefully we can do it again next year!
